Ready to Roll

           A few days ago when I finally took my applique off of my design table after two laborious years, I thought I was ready to satin stitch it, then proceed with the machine quilting. Well, that didn't turn out to be the case. I still had threads to tuck, trimming to do on the back, and some loose elements to hand stitch down.

          And after all of that, I realized that I had no thread in the colors I needed for machine applique or quilting. That meant a trip to the store this morning.

          Now I am finally ready to begin.
