Goofy Hat Night With the Sewful Sisters

The regular biweekly meeting of the Sewful Sisters seemed to start out in an orderly, dignified fashion. That was until Marty brought in a huge container of hats--yes, all sorts of hats--and dumped them in the middle of the living room floor. That's when things got a little wild.

Wynona found the perfect two-cornered hat for herself.

Corey went for a more modern and colorful look.

Janice was jolly in her lavender with tassels. Her friend, Herschel, wouldn't allow us to take his picture.

Even Indy the Cat got in on the action and searched for a hat of her own. So many possibilities!

This is the woman who was behind all of this hullabaloo. Marty makes hats. About one every 30 minutes, as a matter of fact. Last year she donated 487 hats to the homeless shelter as well as to other charities. What a noble and selfless heart!

There was much, much more sharing of beautiful projects at our show and tell. Stay tuned for Part Two.
