  1. Kay-this quilt is going to be amazing. Is it from scraps? Is it a planned quilt? are you creating as you go with just block size in mind? Would like to hear your process. I am in Seattle-that baby grew a foot in a month! (not another appendage-just longer!

  2. Elaine, although it looks VERY scrappy and unplanned, it is very intentional. I do try to use up scraps as I go. The piecing methods are various. Some modified log cabins. Extreme stack n whacks, etc.

Thanks for the great laugh this morning. The appendage comment had me roaring. Glad that baby is thriving.

  3. Those blocks are absolutely gorgeous! The color load is the best I've seen. Gosh, really.
    Have a great day!

  4. Did you take the square patch block out all together? I'm really liking how they are in the photo. It kind of glows with the yellow block int he middle.

    1. Barb, these are just more of the "new" blocks that I have taken out of my box of partially finished blocks and added some strips, bits, and pieces to get them square. There are many, many more where those came from. I don't know what I was thinking at the time.

Thanks for paying so much attention. The square patch block is safe and sound. It even has a buddy that just needs some strips sewn around the outside. I will definitely use them in something.
