Broccoli, Celery, & Brussel Sprouts

Today was a beautiful day in California's Central San Joaquin Valley. It is time to put some winter seedlings in the garden.

          Broccoli:

          Lots of celery:

          Brussel sprouts:

I got them in the ground just as it started to sprinkle.

  1. Your fall garden looks great. We planted turnips only to have the tops eaten by bugs and roots that didn't grow.

  2. What do you put in your garden to replenish it in the winter... we are colder up here than where you are... pulling out the tomatoes, and wondering what I can add, so that it will be ready for veggies in the summer/ spring. Beautiful roses.. love them... just finished trimming mine back.

    1. Vivian, I started to respond to your question, and it became an essay. I will publish it soon and dedicate it to you.
