Hand-Dyed Infinity Scarves

I had a little bit of fun this weekend dyeing some infinity scarves that I purchased from Dharma Trading Company along with some new colors of dye. Most of them I dyed in jars. The two lighter peach scarves, I dyed with ice.

A shot from the flip side.

I am still fascinated by all the surprises that come with hand-dyeing.

  1. So pretty. Are the scarves already made and ready to dye?

    1. The scarves are already made. They are labeled as ready to dye, but I always wash them and treat them with soda ash before dyeing, anyway.

  2. Such lovely colors! They do look like a lot of fun was had dyeing them. The blue one is really gorgeous.
I'd love to try dyeing scarves sometime. Are the scarves cotton or silk?

    1. The scarves are cotton because I mostly have dyes for cotton. Silk scarves are available at Dharma as well.
